This leaves you more than simply unentertained, you are no longer reachable or, even worse, unable to call for help in case of emergency. Perhaps you have an external battery pack, which will work… if you remembered to bring it along and if you remembered to recharge it after the last time you took it along for the day. The WORX USB Battery Adapter is the accessory that you didn’t know you needed. It is compatible with WORX 1.5, 2.0 and 4.0 Ah batteries, all of which are widely used with products in the WORX Power Share collection, including lawn/garden and DIY tools. The compact adapter simply attaches to WORX 20V batteries with a tongue-and-groove interface for a secure connection.
Drawing power from the WORX battery, the adapter supplies two USB ports that accept standard type-A cables, the ones commonly used for charging most smartphones (including Apple iPhones and Android devices), plus other portable devices and peripherals, including portable speakers, ear buds, stud finders, and a nearly infinite number more. Were you following along an online video on how to do your project and your laptop died? The 5-volt, 2.1-amp output will supply power to some laptops, if you have the correct cable. Even if it might not actually charge the device’s battery you can still get the project completed with the laptop running off of an external power source.
The best news: even if the battery on your favorite device is completely drained, using the USB Battery Adapter to revive it will not drain too much from the WORX batteries and will allow you to continue using your power tools. Most current devices have a maximum battery capacity between 3000 and 4000mAh, meaning charging to full will leave most of the WORX battery available for its intended purpose.
